The 2019 Survey Season Has Begun

The 12th year of the Nightjar Survey Network is underway! Click here to download a summary of detections and user participation throughout the years.

If it’s been a while since you’ve conducted a survey or you’re looking to add routes to your effort, please sign up here: http://www.nightjars.org/participate/
Survey instructions, as well as links to our field data sheet, are accessible from this main page.

If you’re looking to retire from a route go to your “My Routes” section at the top of the main nightjars.org page, log in, click on the desired route, then select “retire from route” found near the bottom of the page. The “My Routes” page will also allow you to view previously submitted data as well as submit data for 2019.

If you haven’t logged in to the website in a long time and have forgotten your password, you can retrieve it by clicking the “Forgot your Password?” link at the bottom of the page here to reset it: http://www.nightjars.org/users/sign_in
Your username is always the email address linked to your Nightjar Survey Account.

We look forward to increasing participation this year as we hope to unveil a user-friendly field application as well as moving towards updating our website.
Have fun out there and thank you!
